My Lost Treasure: John Lennon

Today is number nine in our series of number songs. The one I picked for today is not only a great song, it's special to me because one of my friends is singing on it. And it fits the theme.

I got to know May Pang about four years ago when my boyfriend Bobby was invited to play in the band at a party at her house. I had known about May's relationship with John Lennon, but didn't know much about her as a person. Well, she is smart, talented, beautiful inside and out, and would have been well known and successful even if she never met John Lennon.  She is one of the back up singers on today's lost treasure.

I still look forward to May's great parties, and am proud to call her my friend. She shares great stories, she loves great music, and she makes a mean chicken salad. And she made a difference in John Lennon's life, as I'm sure she has in the lives of many.
