My Lost Treasure: John Denver

Transportation is the theme we've been working on for My Lost Treasure.  And we're working on the sub- theme of planes.  We'll also do automobiles, bikes, boats, whatever...

I guess there is some sort of sad irony here.  The person who wrote today's plane song also died in a plane crash.  It's one of my favorite plane songs.  It was actually a pretty big hit for Peter, Paul, and Mary, but I'm plying the version by John Denver for two reasons.  One, he wrote it.  And two, it's off one of what used to be (alright, I'll admit it still is) one of my favorite albums when I was a kid.

I'm still looking for transportation suggestions and requests.  Especially songs about planes.  If you have an idea, let me know...
