My Lost Treasure: Jimi Hendrix

It is a guys names theme on My Lost Treasure.  I never meant to play the songs in any particular order, but it is kind of working out that way.  We had a bunch of John and Johnny songs, then some Jack and Jackie Songs, and now it's Joe songs.  Yesterday it was an awesome Frank Zappa song, today it's Jimi Hendrix.

I am too young to have seen Jimi Hendrix in concert, but I love his music.  One of the coolest things I did get to do was to meet Eddie Kramer, who was Jimi's (and many others) engineer.  He lived in Dutchess County for many years and became a good friend of the radio station.  We have even shared a meal together.  Eddie was always a great guy with some really awesome stories.  He has since moved away, and I miss hearing his tales of the old days.

Tonight's pick is not actually lost, but it's definitely a treasure, so we are including it in this theme of My Lost Treasure.  If you have a request that fits the theme, let me know.
