My Lost Treasure: Jefferson Airplane

Today is Aug. 16.  On this day forty seven years ago the Woodstock Music and Art Fair was going strong.  It was day two.  My challenge for this Woodstock anniversary is to keep with the current theme of guys names and celebrate the Woodstock anniversary at the same time.

The song today is one that was performed by Jefferson Airplane at Woodstock.  And the name is Sam.  Uncle Sam.  When I look at the pictures that are shown through this video, I always appreciate that Bethel is pretty much right up the road.  And that it is an awesome venue where people can enjoy great music.  Very much like 1969, yet very, very different.  Sometimes when I'm there, I look over the hills and the grounds and I picture how it must have been that weekend.  It's pretty mind blowing.

Aug. 17 was the last day of the Woodstock Festival.  Let's see if I can come up with a song that meets the challenge.  Happy Woodstock Anniversary!
