My Lost Treasure: Coven

The theme right now on My Lost Treasure is guys names.  Today's song's guys name is actually in the parenthesis part of the title.  And it was the theme to a movie from the 1970s.

I think everybody that grew up in the 70s remembers the movie Billy Jack.  Billy Jack actually made young girls fantasize about being mistreated by townsfolk just so Billy Jack could defend us.  I am not kidding.  He was dreamy, he could fight like nobody's business, and he was honorable.  The guy who played Billy Jack, Tom Laughlin, also wrote and directed the movie.  I was shocked when he died a few years back.  I think I was even more shocked that he was 82.  Yikes!  I had a crush on a guy that was now 82.  I guess I still thought of him as he was in the Billy Jack movie.

Today's song is the theme from that movie.  Talk about bringing back some memories.  It's actually one of those songs that you listen to more for the memory than the music I think.  I still sing with it when I hear it, though, so have a memory or two and sing away.
