My Lost Treasure: Aerosmith

It is time to end the theme of songs with rock or rock and roll in the title.  Not because we ran out of songs, I just think we are all getting tired of the theme  But we are going to go out with a bang.  A full album, and one of the best Aerosmith albums in my opinion.

I actually remember hearing Aerosmith as a kid.  Before they got really big.  I used to spend my summers in Salem, Mass.  Aerosmith was considered a local band, and they were getting some radio airplay.  There was a pretty stripped down version of Dream On that got played a lot, and it was before they had an actual big studio produced record.  Fast forward several months, I'm back in New York, and radio stations start playing Dream on.  It was different, but I recognized it.  And it became a huge hit.

So, today we close out the rock theme with the Rocks album from Aerosmith.  Tomorrow we kick off our new theme.  It's cities, towns, states, countries, etc.  have a great weekend.
