Metal Band Trivium Rocks The Chance Wednesday

Orlando, Florida's Trivium plays The Chance in Poughkeepsie this Wednesday (Jan. 13) with One Day Waiting, NoraStone, and Everwar. Doors at 6:30pm.

Trivium formed in 2000 and were signed to Roadrunner Records in 2004. Their seventh studio album, Slence in the Snow, was released last October. Groups that have influenced the band include Metallica, In Flames, Machine Head, Dream Theater, Guns N' Roses, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, among others. The band's current lineup consists of lead singer Matt Heafy, guitarist Corey Beaulieu, bassist Paolo Gregoletto, and drummer Paul Wandtke. Opening bands on the bill are all great Hudson Valley area bands that deserve the support. Come check out this rockin metal show Wednesday night!
