Metal Band Trivium Returns to The Chance Thursday

Orlando, Florida’s Trivium plays The Chance in Poughkeepsie this Thursday (Oct. 13) at 6:30pm.

Trivium formed in 2000 and were signed to Roadrunner Records in 2004. Their seventh studio album, Slence in the Snow, was released last October. Groups that have influenced the band include Metallica, In Flames, Machine Head, Dream Theater, Guns N’ Roses, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, among others. The band’s current lineup consists of lead singer Matt Heafy, guitarist Corey Beaulieu, bassist Paolo Gregoletto, and drummer Paul Wandtke. The band's latest album Silence in the Snow was released in 2015. Opening bands on the bill include Sabaton and Huntress. The band last played The Chance back in January and the show rocked.
