If you're planning on seeing the Guinness World Record light display in LaGrange, you'll want to make sure you do it this weekend.

Every year, Tim Gay and his family open their front yard to visitors from all over the Hudson Valley who are invited to drive through the world's largest residential display of lights. This year, the Gay family have added something new. It's an enormous ball of lights that hangs right in the middle of the yard, casting a glow over the entire yard. The illuminated sphere takes nine 24-channel controllers just run it.

Every weekend Tim takes donations from visitors for different charities throughout the Hudson Valley area. On the weekend of December 14, WPDH will be be on hand to help collect donations for The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie.

All this month The Boris and Robyn Show has been collecting cash and gift cards for the kids at the Children's Home. If you weren't able to stop by one of the live broadcasts, you can come out to see the world record light display and make a donation there. This is the third year we've been collecting for The Children's Home.
