What’s Happening This Weekend: Mom’s Edition
Mother's Day is this Sunday and you still have time to get something nice for her. There are all kinds of different events going on throughout the Hudson Valley to celebrate your mom.
Saturday, May 12; 9-12: Mother's Day Plant sale with the Verplanck Garden Club at the Fishkill Town Hall. You can find all kinds of plants for mom including hanging baskets, herbs, annuals, and perennials. You can also talk with master gardeners and your kids can do some crafts. Sunday, May 13; 7-12: All you can eat Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast at the Claryville Fire Department. Treat mom to breakfast and help out the Claryville Reformed Church Food Pantry. Saturday, May 12; 10-2:45: Annual Arboretum Plant Sale at the Orange County Arboretum in Thoms Bull Memorial Park. You can find over 300 different species and plants whether for sunny or shady conditions, different soil types, and garden beds.
