What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley: Welcome to Spring Edition
In spite of the snow that many folks around the Hudson Valley received this week it is officially Spring. So, that means it's time to get out of the house and have some fun. Here are a few ideas and you'll find links to discover even more events gong on this weekend.
Saturday, March 24; 12-2: Poughkeepsie Plaza Spring Extravaganza and Easter Egg Hunt. It's fun for the whole family. Children 5 and under can search for hidden Easter Eggs in a pile of hay, Bee Bee the clown will be there to entertain, have fun with the coloring contest and craft table. Sunday, March 25; 7 am- noon: All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast at the Claryville Fire Department. Enjoy a delicious breakfast and help out the fire department as well as the Claryville Reformed Church Food Pantry. Adults $9, children ages 5-11 $5, and children under 5 are free. Saturday, March 24; 11-3: Kingston Repair Cafe and Bike Clinic. At the Repair clinic their fix-it experts can fix almost anything, at no cost. A welder will be on site, people standing by with sewing machines, and a knife sharpener. Whether you have a broken small appliance, an electrical product, or furniture that needs fixing bring it and have it fixed. Plus, Bike Friendly Kingston will offer basic bike repairs. Saturday, March 24; 10-4: Easter Bazaar at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Campbell Hall. You will find unique Ukrainian gifts as well as traditional Ukrainian Pysanky(Easter Eggs) for sale.
