What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley

It's the first weekend in September, plus it's a long holiday weekend with Labor Day on Monday. It's the perfect time to get out and have some fun. Here are a few suggestions with links to find even more events this weekend.

Saturday, September 1; 9 am-10 pm: Labor Day Festival at Barton Orchards. Bring your family and enjoy Midway Concessions, a Theme Park, bands, Pick your own farm, a flashlight corn maze(bring your own flashlight), a haunted house and Fireworks on Saturday night. Saturday, September 1; 8-4: Annual Labor Day Weekend Barn Sale at Unison Arts Center in New Paltz. Find your next treasure this weekend. If you are looking for items for a dorm room, college housing, or first apartment this is the place to be. Saturday, September 1; 9-5: Civil War Re-Enactment Weekend at Museum Village in Monroe. This is the 43rd year that this will take place, see history come alive as men, women, and children will have authentic clothing on for who they are portraying. See life as it was then, plus see infantry, cavalry, and artillery units for both Federal and Confederate. You will get a glimpse of both military life and civilian life.
