Warrant Wednesday: Ulster County Man Wanted For Grand Larceny
Unfortunately, every week, there is no shortage of individuals who are wanted by the New York State Police for any number of reasons.
Each week, the New York State Police issue the outstanding warrants and they ask us all to help by spreading the word. The New York State Police post these warrants on their Facebook page and, while we have highlighted an individual here, you can see all of this week’s outstanding warrants below.
New York State Police Troop F, Kingston, are looking for 34-year-old Travis Thiel for grand larceny. According to the New York State Police, Thiel was arrested after receiving $2,400 to do a roofing job at a local residence, which he never started and didn’t return the money to the homeowner. Thiel failed to return to court to answer the charges and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest. Thiel is also wanted by the Ulster County Sheriff's Office on separate charges.
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of this individual should contact the NY State Police ASAP. You should not take any police-action yourself other than to contact the NY State Police at (845)338-1702 or email Crimetip@troopers.ny.gov.
