Warrant Wednesday: Dutchess County Man Wanted For Sexual Abuse

Here are this week’s outstanding warrants from the New York State Police. They ask all of us to help by spreading the word. The New York State Police post these warrants on their Facebook page and, while we have highlighted an individual here, you can see all of this week’s outstanding warrants in the video below.

New York State Police Troop K Dover, are looking for 37-year-old James L. Woolley for sexual abuse.  According to the New York State Police, Woolley is wanted by both the State Police and the Town of Amenia Court after having been convicted of sexual abuse after he pled guilty. He then failed to appear for sentencing. His last known address is in Connecticut, but he is known to frequent Millerton. A warrant for his arrest was issued by the Town of Amenia Justice Court.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of this individual should contact the NY State Police ASAP. You should not take any police-action yourself other than to contact the NY State Police at (845)677-7300 or email Crimetip@troopers.ny.gov.
