Tuesday, Feb. 17: Happy Birthday to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Rickey Medlocke

Happy Birthday today (Feb. 17) to Rickey Medlocke. He's 65. Medlocke was the frontman and guitarist for southern rockers Blackfoot back in the day and joined Lynyrd Skynrd where he played drums from 1970-71.

Medlocke left Skynrd and eventually rejoined as the band's guitarist in 1996. He continues to tour and record with the band to this day.
