Thursday, Feb. 12: Remembering Ray Manzarek of The Doors on His Birthday

Remembering Ray Manzarek on his birthday today, Feb. 12. The Doors keyboardist would have been his 76. Sadly we lost Ray in 2013 after a battle with bile duct cancer.

Manzarek was a founding member of The Doors from 1965-1973. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993. In 1998, Manzarek's memoir Light My Fire: My Life with The Doors was published.
