It was another day at work for Paul Grimmer, as he was operating the crane at the HarborCenter (a future home of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres) construction site in Buffalo, when the crane was suddenly struck by lightening.

Grimmer said this on his Facebook

Eventful day at work today. I'm in the south tower crane at the harbor center and just got hit by lightning with this storm.

Mike Gilbert, a spokesman for the Buffalo Sabres confirmed that grimmer was in the crane but reassured that the crane was properly grounded and that everything was okay.
