Ulster County Restaurants

Even though there are a lot of diners in the Hudson Valley, it seems like you can never have too many. And now there will be one less.

Everybody that has been there is saying great things, so it must be good.

There is something depressing about seeing something that was once a shining star become a dilapidated building that is now nothing more than an eyesore.

I don't know about you, but I'm always happy to find a new place where I can get good pizza.

The Howard Johnson’s in Saugerties, which served many Ulster County residents and people traveling through Ulster County for decades, has now reopened.

They’ve got things like the turkey wrap, pastrami reuben, adult grilled cheese, the meat mountain, and the bacon, avocado, spinach and tomato sandwich.

You get the perfect marriage of flavors, and you’re keeping it local.

Sometimes you want to go out for a big fancy meal, and other times you just crave a good old American burger.

It’s always sad to see a favorite restaurant close, as was the case with Bella Luna, but it’s great news when a new place comes in to take over an otherwise empty spot.

One Ulster County town is going to be missing their favorite pizza this summer, but that’s not even the part that has residents and pizza fans concerned.
