Happy Birthday today (Aug. 11) to Richie Ramone. The one time drummer for The Ramones is 59.

We lost drummer Tommy Ramone of the Ramones on this day 2 years ago (July 11, 2014). He died at the age of 62 after a battle with bile duct cancer.

Today we remember Ramones frontman Joey Ramone on the 15th anniversary of his passing. Joey died of Lymphoma on April 15, 2001 at the age of 49.

A new exhibit has opened in Queens to celebrate forty years of the release of “Ramones” — the debut solo album from the revered punk legends who changed music forever.

Their debut was so immediate that it was hard to believe this band had already been around for about two years.

The classic rock contingent will be well represented during Season 14 of That Metal Show.

The last surviving original member of the Ramones has died.

CJ Ramone(Bassist and sometimes vocalist for The Ramones from 1989 to 1996) plays The Loft(upstairs at The Chance Theater) in Poughkeepsie Tuesday May 13th. Ramones fans will wanna be at this show to see CJ and his band run through a blistering set of Ramones classics...

By this time, they'd become almost irreparably damaged by the grind of touring, personal demons and substance abuse.
