Today (Nov. 20) marks the 25th anniversary of Cinderella's ‘Heartbreak Station’ album. We will feature tracks from this album today at 6:35pm.

Cinderella's third album, "Heartbreak Station" was released on Mercury Records Nov. 20, 1990. It was a top 20 album in the U.S. and it went platinum for sales of a million copies that year. The album featured three singles: the title track "Heartbreak Station", "Shelter Me", and "The More Things Change".

The album featured a more blues, hard rock style of music rather than the glam metal sound of the band's two previous albums, "Night Songs" and Long Cold Winter". Lead singer Tom Keifer has stated that "Heartbreak Station" is his favorite Cinderella record. Cinderella emerged out of the 80's hair metal scene with a series of multi-platinum albums and hit singles whose music videos were in heavy rotation on MTV. The band has sold over 15 million albums worldwide.
