A large reward is now being offered in hopes of finding the people responsible for a Valentine’s shooting that killed one and left three others wounded.

New York Crime Stoppers, acting as a resource for the City of Newburgh Police Department, is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for the shootings and homicide that happened at 253 South William Street in the City of Newburgh early Sunday morning.
Four victims sustained gunshot wounds, police say.

One of the gunshot victims, 24-year-old Gevontay Owens-Grant of Newburgh was pronounced dead at St. Luke’s Hospital.

The basement of 253 South William Street was rented out for a Valentine’s party. The building also houses a church on the top floor that was not connected to the shooting, police say.

Anyone with information regarding the shootings is asked to call the New York Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-866-313-8477. Calls can be kept anonymous. There is no caller ID on the hotline phones, officials say.
