Popular Hudson Valley Business Honors Police Officers
A Hudson Valley restaurant went out of its way to honor local police officers.
Uptown Coffee in Kingston recently honored Kingston police officers by having staff members wear Kingston Police Department shirts and hats.
"We wear your shirts today, but we honor you every day. Thank you for risking your lives, to protect all of ours. In this house, it never goes unnoticed!!! This is a friendly reminder from all of us to show your local law enforcement some serious love," Uptown Coffee wrote on Facebook.
The gesture from the restaurant didn't go unnoticed by the Kingston Police Department.
"If you haven't been to Uptown Coffee you should go! They support their community. Yesterday, they humbled us by giving us a shout out! Thank you Uptown Coffee for your support of law enforcement," the Kingston Police Department said on Facebook.
