A woman is accused of fleeing police on the Taconic at speeds over 120 miles per hour.

On Thursday, New York State Police from Poughkeepsie arrested 20-year-old Nicole Mishiyev from Brooklyn for criminal possession of a controlled substance, reckless endangerment, obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest, reckless driving, all misdemeanors, unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and multiple vehicle and traffic violations.

Troopers allegedly first spotted a car driving 103 miles per hour heading north on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Stanford.

Mishiyev is accused of fleeing when police attempted to pull her over. At one point on the Taconic, Mishiyev allegedly drove 121 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone.

A small amount of marijuana and 31 individually packaged 500 milliliter canisters of concentrated marijuana were found in Mishiyev’s car when authorities finally stopped her, police say.

Mishiyev was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Stanford Justice Court on Oct. 25.
