A police K-9 named Ash is being credited with finding 160lbs of pot during a drug bust on Monday.

A search warrant was issued on the suspect's home in the Town of Chester. Police, with the help of their drug-sniffing dog found 8 pounds of marijuana and $8,400 in cash.

Additional searches in sheds across Orange County that were unrelated to the suspect's charges uncovered an additional 130lbs of pot.

The suspect was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Since the publishing of this article, the accused record has been expunged.
