Every Sunday, we highlight non-profit organizations throughout the Hudson Valley on 'In Touch’, our local public affairs program. Each week, I have the pleasure of talking with individuals who are working hard to help make all of our communities better places to live, work, and raise our families.

This week we talked about Rebuilding Together Dutchess County and their upcoming 'Chip in to Rebuild' Golf Tournament at Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley. Christina Boryk, the Executive Director for Rebuilding Together Dutchess County, stopped by and got us caught up with all of the good work they have been doing.

They have been serving Dutchess County and helping homeowners stay in their homes since the 1970’s. They recently helped several Dutchess County residents on National Rebuilding Day in April.  Volunteers and skilled tradespeople join forces to help individuals who are making tough decisions about home repairs and medicine or food have a safe and healthy home.

The 'Chip in to Rebuild' Golf Tournament is a great opportunity for you and your friends to have a great day and help Rebuilding Together help even more families be able to stay safely in their homes.

If you would like information on how to volunteer or donate to this program, head here. Just call 845-454-7310 to get more information. If you need help, please ask, that's what they're here for.
