Magnolia Bakery Is Coming to Woodbury Common

If you love dessert, especially cupcakes, then you'll love this news.

Manhattan's famous Magnolia Bakery is opening a new location right here in the Hudson Valley. The Times Herald reports that the new location opens at Woodbury Common on Friday.

Magnolia Bakery first opened in the West Village in Manhattan in 1996. Since then it has become a world renown destination for cupcakes, muffins, pies and other desserts. It's been featured and referenced in television shows, movies, and spawned its own cookbook.

The Times Herald even says there will be a new specialty cupcake offered to celebrate the Woodbury location.

Currently, the only other U.S. locations outside of Manhattan are in Chicago, Honolulu, and Los Angeles.

Great to have these guys in the Hudson Valley!
