There are many great reasons to live in the Hudson Valley and the Mohonk Preserve is certainly one of them.  Whether you climb, hike, bike, horseback ride, run, ski or snowshoe, Mohonk is the place to be.

It was established as a trust in 1963 and in the years since then they've acquired lands, participated in important studies, been used as an outdoor laboratory, and designated a National Historic Landmark(along with the Mohonk Mountain House.)

How would you like to have a free pass for a month to this beautiful place? You can during Healthy Ulster Autumn if you’re an Ulster County resident. All you have to do is bring your proof of residency to the Preserve Visitor Center in Gardiner from 10am-4pm Thursday, August 16 through Sunday, August 19, 2018.

You can also get your pass at the Spring Farm Trailhead from 10am-4pm Saturday, August 18, and Sunday, August 19, 2018. The membership passes are good through September 16, 2018.

This is such a popular program that the Mohonk Preserve continues to offer this opportunity to Ulster County Residents every year. Don't miss this opportunity to get out and enjoy the beauty Mohonk has waiting for you and your family.
