Someday soon it will be nice and warm outside, trees will have leaves on them and the big summer blockbusters will start to be released. Can't wait for the next superhero movie because this week it's Get Hard and Home.

First, Get Hard, Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart star in a movie about Ferrell trying to be ghetto. He plays an investment banker who is wrongfully convicted and needs to prepare for jail. He enlists his car washer, Hart, to teach him how to be street. With a feeling of a really long Funny-or-Die skit, Rotten Tomatoes gives this one a 31%. I think my favorite negative comment comes from New York Times' A.O. Scott, "The highest praise I can give Get Hard is that it is not quite as awful as it could have been."

Now for something a bit better, and for the kids! A story of friendship, helping others and getting past fears, Home seems to be an over-all adorable movie. Starring Jim Parsons as Oh the alien and Rihanna as Tip the earthling, the unlikely duo work together to find Tip's mother and protect Oh from his own people. Of course in the end everything works out and they change each others world for the better. With a 41% Rotten Tomatoes rating this movie should be okay. Over all critics say its a good story for kids but some say that there is just not enough going on as far as complexity, even for kids.

Check out the trailers below and as always, until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies!
