The City of Kingston, New York has been busy making road repairs across the city.

The City of Kingston recently announced that it would be working over the next few weeks to improve the city's infrastructure and make some much-needed road repairs across the city. The long list of infrastructure improvements and road work repairs projects (below) have some Kingston residents feeling thankful that they are finally getting done.

Road Work Projects in Kingston, New York

There are approximately five different projects underway across the City of Kingston and according to the city's Facebook page, they are making progress at each of them. The projects include making improvements at the Clinton Avenue intersection, which has been fully repaved and will have traffic signal work begin next week. The city expects the project to be completed by late December.

Gas main line installations continue across the city as Central Hudson crews will continue working on South Clinton Ave, Marius St, Josephine Ave, and Donovan Pl. Gas service replacements will also continue on Pine St, Greenkill Ave, and South Prospect/South Clinton neighborhood until completed.

Road crews will also complete curb ramps at Clinton Avenue, Maiden Lane, and St. James Street intersections. The Prospect Street sewer project will also continue through next week as crews work on new curbs and sidewalks as well as replacing the underground sewer and storm drain between Liberty and St. James. City officials are hoping to begin paving part of the street next week.

New One Way Street in Kingston, NY

The City also announced to improve the safety of residents at the intersection at Garden/Hasbrouck/Prince/E. O'Reilly it has decided to make a section of Prince Street from Garden Street to Foxhall Avenue a one-way street. Residents need to be aware that drivers will no longer be able to turn onto Prince from Foxhall Ave.
