Welcome Hudson Valley to this week’s edition of IN TOUCH, the public affairs and issues program that runs across Townsquare Media of the Hudson Valley radio stations.
With us this week is Jeffrey Sasson, Executive Director of the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum. The Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum is going through a rebranding, adding new exhibits, and expanding its programs to wider age demographics with bright plans for the future.
We will be discussing the integration between in-school formal education, and creative informal out-of-school education. Jeffrey Sasson talks about the legacy of the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum and how it is rebranding itself as the Discovery Museum.
We’ll touch on creating hands-on, engaging environments for children of all ages, and the significance that interactive learning has to students, teachers, and parents alike.
