A 28-year-old woman is being accused of going on a destructive spree smashing and damaging 10 different businesses with a hammer in upstate New York.

According to the Albany Police Department officers were dispatched early Wednesday morning to the 300th block of Central Ave for a report of a woman smashing the windows out of businesses along the stretch of road in Albany, New York.

Woman Allegedly Smashes Windows at 10 Upstate New York Businesses

As officers arrived on the scene just after 5:55 a.m. Wednesday morning they found 28-year-old Sarah Magner, of Albany, NY near Central Avenue and Partridge Street and determined that she was the person who allegedly smashed the windows out of the 10 businesses along the street.

Police quickly took her into custody and accused her of smashing the business's windows with a hammer. She was arrested and charged with second—and third-degree criminal mischief and was set to be arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court according to WTEN.

Police said that the following businesses allegedly had their windows smashed out by Magner,

New Yorker Pizzeria Pasta and Fried Chicken
Heaven on Earth
Nail Top
Ichiban and Chang’s Garden
Sheba al-Yemen Restaurant
Lucky Tattoo
Dripeez Smoke Shop
Club Pheonix
Capital Area Peer Services
Watkin Spring Co.

Police didn't say what caused Magner to smash out the windows of each of the businesses above, or if they found her in possession of a hammer but did say this is an active investigation and as more information becomes available we will update this article.

All of the affected businesses appear to be currently open during their normal business hours.
