A fun spot offering a combination of coffee, cuisine, craft beers and other beverages has expanded beyond Highland and New Paltz and into new territory.

Underground Coffee & Ales Expands Again

A unique concept, great for the communities they have been serving across Ulster County for quite some time, has announced a sister location in Ellenville!

Branded as a 'beer bar' and 'Hudson Valley burger and beer destination,' Underground Coffee & Ales has formally announced they will being their cafe, craft beer, locally roasted coffee, wine, tea, food and bottle shop to Ellenville.

A social media post recently shared the exciting news:

Second Expansion In A Year's Time for Underground Coffee & Ales

Less than a year ago, following the closure of one of New Paltz's longstanding favorite pubs, Shatzi's, the village learned that a new, but familiar business would soon be opening on Main Street. Underground Coffee & Ales expanded from their 'flagship' locale in the Town of Highland down Rt. 299 to the Village of New Paltz.

Last year's expansion has been well received by the New Paltz community, as the unique offerings and fun vibe of the cafe/bar fits nicely with the feel off the village, and we imagine that the new location will be just as well received in Ellenville!
