A local Congressman turned a few heads during an interview when he was asked about what he was doing to help Hudson Valley residents fight price hikes.

Tomorrow is mid term elections in this country and voters all across the country as well as New York State will make sure their voices heard at the ballot box. There are several big elections taking place right here in the Hudson Valley.

Sean Patrick Maloney is currently representing New York's 18th District and is the current chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Maloney is currently running against Republican Candidate Mike Lawler for the Lower Hudson Valley's 17th District. An election that will be decided tomorrow.

Maloney is facing some backlash over an answer he gave in a recent interview. When asked about what he's doing about fighting inflation for Hudson Valley residents he suggested that when other bills go up you could always eat inexpensive food like Chef Boyardee like he did when he was growing up. He then boasted about cutting costs for  healthcare and prescription drugs when Chef Boyardee has extremely high sodium, cholesterol and sugar content.
