New York Native & Syracuse University Alum Fired By WWE After Domestic Abuse Allegations
By the time Monday Night Raw aired on September 2, it became evident the departure was no accident.
Odyssey Jones, a New York native and Syracuse University alum, was quietly removed from WWE’s roster over the weekend, raising eyebrows and questions.
Despite recent involvement with The New Day, Jones was absent from the show for a second consecutive week, fueling speculation of his release. Jones, who joined WWE's main roster in 2023, had just begun making his mark on Raw alongside Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio later hinted at Jones' release, though he hadn’t received official confirmation.

Despite Jones’ sudden removal, The New Day's Kofi Kingston was on Raw, seeking a tag team title match, but there was no mention of Jones. The abrupt end to Jones' storyline, where he recently supported The New Day against The Final Testament, leaves fans with more questions than answers about his unexpected exit from WWE.
