Is This Special Park the Best Kept Secret in the Hudson Valley?
The Mid-Hudson Valley is full of so many amazing resources that calling anything the "best kept secret" is sure to cause some debate. That being said, it is beyond surprising how few people in the area know about one of our greatest parks.

To have a best kept secret, there must be some "worst kept" ones as well. Nominees where visitors swarm include Minnewaska State Park in Ulster County, Breakneck Ridge in Dutchess (and Putnam) County, and Bear Mountain State Park in Orange (and Rockland) County.
