The recently reunited Heart confidently re-claimed their throne in front of more than 20,000 fans on Sunday night at the Blossom Music Center in Akron, Ohio. You can see dozens of photos from the tour below.

At one point late in the show, singer Ann Wilson assured the crowd that the conflict which had caused her and guitarist sister Nancy to split for nearly three years was in the past, but that message had already been delivered pretty clearly through the music they'd already played.

In addition to digging into their own past for rarely-played songs such as opener "Rockin' Heaven Down" and "Back to Avalon," the Wilson sisters also unveiled a pair of unexpected covers. Ann's voice was the highlight of a beautiful version of Yes' "Your Move," and the sisters harmonized together wonderfully on Simon & Garfunkel's "The Boxer." Of course, they also played a song by their beloved Led Zeppelin, this time their increasingly famous cover of "Stairway to Heaven." Heart also included a quick bit of Marvin Gaye's "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" as an intro for "Straight On."

This increased dose of covers helps Heart carry the flag for classic rock as a whole, much like Guns N' Roses have been doing on their current reunion tour. It also offers a new context for their own recorded work by hinting at the influences that helped inspire the band.

Heart's Love Alive tour is scheduled to run through Oct. 13. You can get complete show and ticket information at their official website.
