One more day of humid weather as sunshine returns to the Hudson Valley for Friday.  Parts of the area had some sunshine Thursday afternoon, but a full day of sunshine returns on Friday.  It will still be sticky and temps will hit the mid 80’s.

A cold front from the west will move in the Hudson Valley late Friday afternoon and evening, this will touch off more showers and serve thunderstorms.  There might be some gusty winds associated with this front as well.

There is good news, that front will usher in some nice weather for the weekend.  Sunshine and less humid conditions.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Friday:  Partly sunny, high near 86.  Showers and thunderstorms likely late in the afternoon.

Friday night:  Scattered and thunderstorms, otherwise mostly cloudy, low around 66.

Saturday:  Partly sunny, high near 84.  Chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm.

Sunday:  Mostly sunny, high near 84.
