In a time of uncertainty, it's nice to see that we can still come together.

With everything going on with COVID-19, the confirmed cases around the Hudson Valley and the National State of Emergency, we've seen tons of grocery stores with bare shelves.

People are reporting to us that stores are taking a little longer to open up in the morning due to restocking. We know that some store hours have changed in the last few days as companies want to sanitize and restock.

With all of that being said, it's great to see that instead of causing a mob to get to the closet pallet of products, others are helping restock.

On Saturday, March 14th, Addy Jennings shared a photo on Facebook of some extra hands helping out at a local Price Chopper.

Jennings wrote on Facebook "Love our fire dept!! Goodwill Fire dept has been packing out product since 8am this morning at the Newburgh Market 32 Price Chopper."

If you find yourself making a stop at the grocery store at some point in the following weeks, remember there are people working non-stop to make sure you get what you need. Remember to be kind.
