Family of Driver who Perished in Local Metro North Train Crash Set to Sue

Ellen Brody is the wife and mother who perished in the deadliest crash in Metro North history. Her family is preparing to sue the railroad and others as a result.

Brody, along with 5 Metro North passengers died in the accident. LoHud reports her family has filed a notice of claim, which must occur before a lawsuit can happen. Also mentioned in the claim, the MTA, Westchester County and Mount Pleasant (town).

Monday was the deadline set for victims who wished to pursue a case against Metro North.
