The roof at a Dutchess County business battled the after-effects of the blizzard. Unfortunately, Stella won.

On Wednesday around 2:30 p.m., the Rhinebeck Fire Department was sent to a reported structural collapse with a person trapped inside at the Williams Lumber on Route 9 in Rhinebeck.

At the time of the collapse, it just so happened, a member of the Rhinebeck Fire Department was inside the store and was able to update incoming crews that a large portion of the roof on the main building collapsed into the store.

The person who was originally reported as trapped was able to walk-out on their own.

One man was evaluated by Rhinebeck EMS personnel and declined medical attention at the scene, officials say.

According to Williams Lumber, despite the amazing damage to the building, everyone was accounted for and uninjured.

Emergency officials searched the building and confirmed everyone was able to get out.
