Don't make too much noise. Try to contain your excitement. It looks as though a blockbuster film shot here in the Hudson Valley is officially getting a sequel.

The talk around the Hudson Valley for the past few months was focused on Jim from The Office and the lady from The Devil Wears Prada making a movie in town. Just kidding: we know John Krasinski and Emily Blunt was the powerhouse couple behind the movie A Quiet Place.

Kransinski was the mastermind behind the new horror film that had millions buzzing. He was clearly on to something because A Quiet Place is the "second-biggest domestic debut of 2018" according to Variety.

So far A Quiet Place has made $213 million worldwide and $134 million of that coming from the US.

If you haven't seen the film, maybe you should stop reading.

A Quiet Place ends on a bit of a cliffhanger which had lots of people talking about a possible sequel. It looks as though it is finally official: A Quiet Place will be coming back for a part two.

Paramount Pictures studio’s chairman-CEO Jim Gianopulos said at CinemaCon, "We’re thrilled to say that we’re already working on the sequel to ‘A Quiet Place,'."

No further details have been released and no word if Kransinski or Blunt will return for their roles or as writers/directors.

Parts of 'A Quiet Place' were filmed in Dutchess and Putnam counties. Where will part two take place?
