For the second time this week a dog is being blamed for a vehicular crash...and yes, this latest incident happened in the state of Florida as well.

Wildwood Police say that a 33-year-old Sumter County woman named Christina Anne Marie Lamoreaux allegedly struck an apartment complex. Lamoreaux then allegedly left the scene of the accident. When police caught up with her they said she smelled of alcohol and appeared disoriented. When police attempted a sobriety test, Lamoreaux refused and became hostile as she resisted officers’ attempts to arrest her, according to the Daily Commercial.

Here's where things take quite the turn.

Officers say that while Lamoreaux admitted to the crash, she actually blamed the whole accident on her dog. The Florida woman then demanded that her dog be placed under arrest.

Lamoreaux was charged with DUI, hit and run involving property damage and resisting arrest. She was released from the Sumter County jail after posting a $2,500 bond

The dog was not arrested.

Earlier this week, a Bud Light truck driver in Hernando County, Florida flipped his vehicle after he says his dog distracted him.  The crash caused lane closures as cans of Bud light cans were scattered all over the highway during the morning rush hour.
