Your Winning Mothers

This week we invited The WPDH listeners to nominate their Moms as the best Mothers in the Hudson Valley.  All of the winners get tickets to the WPDH Summer Concert with Boston and Cheap Trick, and will join Boris, Robyn, Meat Sandwich and the whole show for a special lunch in their honor at The Bluestone Bistro in Poughkeepsie.

We received a flood of entries, and of course we think everyone's Mother deserves to win, but here are the Moms that were chosen each day this week:

Caleb in Fishkill:

I think my mother is the greatest mom in the Hudson Valley because my mother has always done what it takes to give me and my siblings the best. My mother has always supported us 100% in anything we did, whether it was at sporting events or in school. My mother has worked three jobs just to give us extra luxuries, like a night out at the movies or to a restaurant. My mother has not made all of the best decisions in her life but no matter what she has put the well being of my siblings and i before her own well being. I love my mother and i don't know where i would be without her today and that is why i think my mom is the best mom in the Hudson Valley.

Tyler in Walden:

My mom is the greatest because of all she has taught and shared with me throughout my life. She has taught me the values of family, friends, how to be a better person and the value of helping others. We've shared many wonderful memories and that it is okay to laugh at yourself and make mistakes. I love that we share the love of laughter and music. She is not only my mom but my role model and one of my best friends.

Kim in Saugerties:

Besides all of the amazing and wonderful things that the average mom does, my mom knew I was working multiple jobs, was very busy, and hungry. So, she went grocery shopping for me, went to my house and put them all away for me, then cooked dinner. So when I came home, the house was picked up, the dogs were fed, and my mom was waiting there for me with a home cooked meal! It was delicious and so nice to not have the anxiety of taking care of all the household responsibilities after a 14 hour day and being tired. My mom is the best!

Chris in Port Ewen:

My mom the best because she's always been there.. And always been like a good buddy I can always talk to her about anything.. Even when I called her drunk at 3 in the morning just to chat... Lol

Chris in Wallkill:

SHE IS THE SMARTEST PERSON I KNOW AND THE KINDEST MARRIED 45 YRS TO MY DAD SHE HAS DEVOTED HER LIFE TO FAMILY AND NEVER REFUSES TO HELP OTHERS SHE HAS TAKEN IN HER GRAND DAUGHTER AND TKES CARE OF HER 91 YEAR OLD AUNT SHOPS FOR HER DRIVES HER TO ALL APPOINTMENTS MAKES SURE SHE ENJOYS EVERY HOLIDAY AND SHE EVEN DOES THE LITTLE LEAGUE BOOK AT MY SON'S GAMES WHICH SHE NEVER MISSES SHE NEVER REFUSES WHEN A FAVOR IS ASKED AND SEEM MUCH YOUNGER THAN 64 LOVES MUSIC AND LISTENS TO WPDH EVERY DAY HAS RUN SEVERAL BUSINESSES AND IS THE "FORCE" BEHIND OUR FAMILY
