The LA Times reported on Wednesday morning that Legendary Yankee, Yogi Berra passed away at the age of 90. Yogi still holds the record for playing in the most World Series games with 75. At the end of his 19 season run with the Yankees, Berra amassed three MVP awards, 15 appearances as an All-Star and 12 World Series home runs.

Yogi Berra was known for his humorous and unintentionally insightful phrases. We've collected some of our favorites.

“Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise they won't come to yours.”

“It’s deja vu all over again.”

“I usually take a two hour nap from one to four.”

“You have to give 100 percent in the first half of the game. If that isn't enough, in the second half, you have to give what's left.”

“Pitching always beats batting... and vice-versa.”

“Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.”

“Never answer an anonymous letter.”

"If you don't know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else."

“It gets late early out here.”

“When you come to a fork in the road take it."

“Ninety percent of all mental errors are in your head.”

“If the people don’t want to come out to the ballpark, nobody’s going to stop them.”

"Baseball is 90% mental. The other half is physical."

“Pair up in threes.”

“Why buy good luggage, you only use it when you travel.”

"Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded."

“We made too many wrong mistakes.”

“Cut my pie into four pieces, I don’t think I could eat eight.”

“You can observe a lot by watching.”

“The future ain’t what it used to be.”

And, of course, Yogi's most famous quote: “It ain’t over till it’s over.”
