Roughly 800,000 customers of HealthCare.gov received the wrong tax information from the government, according to the Obama administration, as reported by The Daily Freeman.

Officials are asking that if you are affected by this, to delay filing your 2014 tax return. That being said, close to one million people may have to wait longer to receive their returns this year.

*They have begun to notify affected customers.

There is roughly 50,000 Obamacare customers that have already filed their taxes, and they may have to resubmit their return. People that have submitted their return already, will receive special instructions from the Treasury Department.

They are investigating the root cause of the error, but it apparently has to do with calculations of a benchmark premium that is used to help determine the amount of subsidies that individuals receive.

These errors came from new forms that HealthCare.gov sent to millions of customers. The forms, 1095-As are like a W-2 for healthcare.
