In the mid 70's you wouldn't think that Lynyrd Skynyrd would be that popular in Wales, but they were and felt most comfortable.  This weekend we take you back to a performance on November 4, 1975 at the Cardiff Capitol Theatre in Wales in the United Kingdom, plus we'll also hear from Boston and Mountain on the WPDH Soundcheck, Sunday night at 10pm.

Don't forget Lynyrd Skynyrd is on it's farewell or retirement tour as surviving member and guitarist Gary Rossington has been in poor health for the past couple of years.  They will be at Bethel Woods in Sullivan County this summer on their "Last of the Survivors Farewell Tour".  Opening up is .38 Special and The Marshall Tucker Band on Saturday July 21st at 6pm.

It is very rare to find any Boston "live" and in good quality from the early days.  We did, as we unearthed a show they did at the old Spectrum in Philadelphia in December of 1976 for the King Biscuit show that was nationally syndicated (which WPDH happened to be on of it's affiliates in the day).

The Mountain performance is from the old Felt Forum underneath MSG in New York City on New Year's eve 1974.
