This week on the WPDH Soundcheck it's Queen, Boston, and Tom Petty recorded live in concert.  Sunday night at 10pm on 101.5 WPDH and on the WPDH app.

I am sure if all of us could see all three together on the same night it would be a tremendous concert bill.  Queen was recorded at the old Wembley stadium where they brought the house down one year earlier with the late Freddie Mercury at the helm when they played Live Aid on July 13th, 1985.  The Wembley show was July 12th, 1986.  Mercury was born this month, September 5th, and would be 72 if he was alive today.

Boston was from a show 1 week before Christmas, recorded at the Philadelphia Spectrum in 1976 for the "King Biscuit Flower Hour".  Tom Petty was recorded at the Fillmore in San Francisco and in his hometown of Gainesville, Florida.
