WPDH Soundcheck: Journey, The Doors, Yes

This week we feature Journey at their peak live with performances from Tokyo, plus The Doors at the old Felt Forum in NYC and Yes in California.  Sunday night at 10pm it's all live on 101.5 WPDH and the WPDH app.

Journey continue to tour with Def Leppard this year.  They just recently performed in Albany, but if you missed that show they will be at Madison Square Garden on June 13th with Def Leppard and at the Prudential Center in Newark two nights later on the 15th.  Speaking of Madison Square Garden, in 1970 underneath the arena was The Felt Forum where concerts and boxing matches were held.  The Doors performed four shows in two nights on January 17th and 18th.  You could of had tickets for $5.50 for each show.  There is rumors that the theater (now known has the Hulu Theater) may be torn down to make way for a new entrance to Penn Station.  You can read the article here.
