This Sunday night at 10pm we'll feature live music from REO Speedwagon in Kansas City, Green Day in London, The Doobie Brothers in L.A. and much more.

The Doobie Brothers show at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles was back in 1982 when the band decided to retire but wanted to give its hardcore fans one more tour.  The show features most of the original lineup including Michael McDonald who was recruited by then bass player Jeff "Skunk" Baxter.  Baxter and McDonald both played in Steely Dan back in the mid 70's.  McDonald came into the band as Tom Johnston left while suffering from constant stomach ulsers.

Eventually the band reunited back in 1988 with the core of Tom Johnston, Patrick Simmons, and John McFee intact.  Here is a clip of the band performing "China Grove", watch as Tom Johnston changes out his guitar while still singing the song, obviously a broken string was the result of the change out.
