WPDH Sound Check July 9th

It's a special WPDH Soundcheck this week as birthday boy Jack George picks out his favorite three bands to play on the show.  Rush, Yes, and The Who.  All live music Sunday night at 10pm on 101.5 WPDH and the WPDH app.

I have seen Rush probably 16 times in my life, Yes 14 and The Who just 2 but they are my favorites.  The only one I have seen local of the three was Yes and they never had the same lineup whenever they visited the Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown.  "You know it's summer when they're rockin in Middletown" use to be the old slogan they would play on the radio commercials.

Rush has been a mainstaple in my life ever since my old neighbor in Goshen Rob played me Moving Pictures on tape while we were playing Atari 2600.  I asked him to play it again, which he did and I listened closely and couldn't believe 3 guys were making that sound!  Ever since they have been part of the soundtrack of my life.  So for my birthday I am playing these three bands.  Hope you enjoy as much as I do in producing the show for over 3 seasons now.
